ROUND TWENTY-TWO ROUND UP:Seems that the BBQ caused some confusion this week. Bongser would rather have not explained it, but was forced to do so due to his responsibilities upon this thread.

Even now you have explained it I still can't get it from your original post lol
The LCTV footage of the win up in Barrow saw the commentators’ mic’s fail most of the time. The ambient (crowd noise, atmosphere etc) mic was, however, fully functional and generally conveyed a conversation ‘twixt two Barrovians. Quite entertaining!
Your correspondent has no idea what an angle iron is, nor why the speaker was asking his buddy to weld it horizontally. Nor will Bongser ever discover who Marjorie is. Some mysteries are best left mysterious!
Onto the weekend’s punts. Egad! Zools finally let the moths out of his Joker wallet. He went further to boot!

Just do what I did
Smoke a full packet of Black mamba Spice in one go
Followed by a bottle of Brandy chaser
Then a full Slush puppy until you get brain freeze
Stand on your head for 5 minutes
It all makes perfect sense
You really did all that, didn’t you Zools? Why else would you have played a Jokermon that included a draw? Let’s see how things panned out....
Full house on the Saturday game. No correct margins. 5 to all.
Nice homecoming (debut in a few cases) for the lads today beating Batley by a 4:1 ratio. All present and correct. Again no exact margins but Charlie ventured a slightly more conservative joker on the winners and picked up an extra 5 pts.
No surprises at PO Road either. 5 apiece.
We were similarly unanimous on an away win in the late match on the Cheshire plain. The Trannies won again therefore claiming The Shield. Congrats through gritted teeth.
Almost unanimous on a home win for Swinton, but Chayders saw enough spirit from Barrow last weekend to make him err on their side.
This from last week’s round up:

When was the last time there were two DRAWS in one Championship round?
There nearly were again this week. A Dewsbury rally at home to ‘Fax saw
a) A Draw
b) The end of the line for a few Pokemons (everyone incorrect)
c) Zools’ Jokermon out of the window
Then there was a real dust-up at Bootham Crescent. The Bulls drew level with very few minutes to the hooter. 24 all, making Zools’ 22-22 look priddy danged good. Then a York drop goal in the dying seconds sealed a victory for the home team by the narrowest of margins.
In Bongser’s humble opinion, even though he’s a soft spot for Bradford, that’s an important DG for The Centurions’ top five hopes. Less good for Zools and 5 points for only EVVO, CL, Don Juan & Bongser.
So, Chazzer, Evvo, Wanderer & Bongser tied on 30 apiece. Ironic that the seemingly arcane BBQ should settle things this weekend. Coming from behind was Chayders, a mere 122 out on the attendance (scores on the doors, gate, enumeration of the paying public...etc...). 25 BBQ points to him plus another 25 for the WWB. 75 for the round. After last week’s near miss, CL is running into late season form.

Bongser forgot to mention that, in Atomic’s absence last week he did correctly explode a time capsule. On another thread he was, back in the day, pooh-poohed by many for saying that The Vikings would be no threat to Leigh’s hopes for the top five. It was in Round 21 that, barring point deductions, he was mathematically proved correct. Sadly no points on this thread, but Bongser was pleased on many levels.
Puntables out, errrm, sometime.
