No players in place yet cause there no stability of the club you would be stupid to sign for us at this current moment. We will end up with a team of players from the NCL at this rate

And how many will be willing to pay £20 for that privaledge? I alternate between the Miners and East whoever is at home or if they clash whichever I consider the most interesting, admission for £2, I can get a pint for 2 1/2 quid instead of 3 1/2 and a pie for around 1 quid instead of 2 1/2 quid, happy days. The point is whatever happens at the LSV I will still be involved in Rugby League Football, sadly I think a lot will be lost to the game, never to return, FOREVER.

And that, I think, is the root of my unhappiness/frustration. I don't know how many of our core crowd are committed to attending, come what may. But I'm sure that many season ticket holders will give it a miss, and as for the so-called 'fair weather fans'..............
Obviously, the current financial plight and fall from grace, are a huge turn off for many, but I'm pretty certain that the failure/refusal to engage with the customer support base will also cost us dear.

Could not agree more Alan, I think the Leigh club have set up a new type of buisness office: The P.R.A. :-

We will be reet. It is alleged most players have now agreed to deals and one or two others remaining have been given a deadline.
I would say we will be part time for a season under KP coaching stewardship , leaving potential scope to strengthen the playing rost in time for the SL promotion play offs.
When do 2019 STs go on sale is what I want to know?
At last, another 'Luddite' who appears to think the same way as I do.A good few of the contributors on here, are of the opinion we should have just "enjoyed the ride" in 2016 and 2017. (and that's fine, if they enjoyed it) Having experienced, at close quarters, a couple of the 'bust' spells, I'm not enjoying yet another one of those. I guess I'm a cautious person at heart, but give me steady growth, any time!
So, I'm definitely with you, on this one, 'Wysi'. And before the rest of you shoot me down, I'm expressing my opinion - the rest of you are, obviously, just as entitled to yours.
It wasn't even an enjoyable ride. 2016 was largely turgid, until beating Salford in the 8s. 2017 was awful from round 7 onwards. The one exception to this was Wigan at home, which was then explained by DB telling sky he promised them their bonus for avoiding MPG if they won that one game. Inevitiably, we were awful the following game against Widnes.
The last 3 or 4 years have seen; - Scrapping a reserve team, which included 2 players that will be at Wigan next year, at least 1 that has turned us down for next year and 2 that we needed to come back to help complete the 2018 season - Numerous over long press releases which would use 8000 words to tell us that the market stall is open and that DB is great - Being lied to about various players absense. Penky, Barlow and Chase immediately spring to mind - Persistent fall outs with players or unexplained absense of player. Kay, Pownall, Beswick, Brierley, Ridyard, Hampshire, Higson... - An entire squad not playing for the coach, which led to the coach surviving and the squad being replaced - Cooke, Purtill and Cunningham being added to coaching staff at the same time, in some strange attempt to account for said coaches inadequacies.
A lot of money has been invested in the club, but how much of that has been wasted?

He's no good - the lad is huge but couldn't bust through a wet paper bag. He was crap at Wigan, he was crap here, and christ knows why Saints then signed him. Predictably, he was crap there as well.
