awesome you have a good stadium that has not even 2,000 people in it every week. we are the second best supported club in the league at the minute behind widnes. if we win the grand final for the next 3 years are the RFL still going to ignore us.

i can imagine the uprore if gateshead and toulouse are the next teams cause widnes and halifax will have something to say about that.

if we are going on good stadiums though ours will be completed and will be better than cas, wakey, saints, celtic, salford. so we have to kick them out if we are going to go purely on stadium.

I respect Halifax as a club but the RFL wont promote them simply because of the current number of Yorkshire clubs in Super League.

But it isn'r purely on that! it's all about geographical location and unfortunatley neither of us fit that

agreed, our crowds are crap. We have a new ground yes, but are worst team for about 15 years. Fax are top of the table, playing great rugby, and your average will be 'boosted by 2 Widnes home games'.

Fax's last 3 home crowds: 2, 022 + 2,002 + 2,184
Leigh's last 3 home crowds 2,307, 2.177 + 1,727

point taken, but both should be getting bigger crowds, albeit for different reasons. Widnes's crowds puts us all to shame.

i know there is no guarentee we will get to the northern rail cup final or win it or the league grand final but i think with the squad we have got we will get to one of them over the next 2 years.

i dont know why we are complaning anyway even if we win both of them for the next 2 years we wont get in. we will broaden the game out to france a bit more to toulouse and gateshead widnes and leigh will be the others fighting for the place.

Said it before......Gateshead will be the next franchise team as they will want to expand into the north-east.

If you look at the average crowds in the Premiership then compare them to the ones in the Championship,I think the Crowds above when compared with SL will be similar ratios.

Based on todays prices and the competition for everyones money I don't think crowds of 2000 plus are crap, not brilliant but definately not crap.
