There's nothing that can be said at a terrible time like this, having lost my mum (another proud Leyther) several years back. But perhaps there is some consolation to know that the ones we love touch so many thousands of people in small but important ways, that their mark on the world lives on. I never (knowingly) met Rantunrave, but through these boards we were part of a community, part of a shared love of town, team and sport. I think the tributes here reflect just how important we all are to one another.
The man spoke out for what he believed in, and nudged us all in our way of thinking, and from this small window we could all see a passionate, committed person who cared about the things that mattered to him. The sense of loss is incalcuable, but so too are the infinite number of ways that our lives have been shaped for the better by those who have gone.
Our thoughts are with you all.
