Team of players no one in super league wanted! Paterson gets itchy feet half way through a season! Hansen wrists are cream crackered hard grafter but body has taken a hiding. Let's be honest, we could sign a current australia international, with 12 Super League coaches announcing that they wanted to sign the player, and we'd still get some Yorkies telling us how it's a bad signing.

Incidentally, didn't Hansen win Salford's player of the year award last year?

I have to say I'm incredibly impressed by some of the signings you've made and I think it's going to make the Championship (and the 8s) a lot more interesting.

Not sure why people are knocking you, going all out to go up next season and I'm not sure I would bet against it at this rate.

Looking forward to the trip to LSV this year!

Even the most hard pressed critic cannot fail to be impressed by this squad. Unreal. If Leigh don't get into SL in next year it will be the biggest failure in Rugby League since Don Fox missed "that kick".

Not the biggest failure in RL since we failed to get into SL last season, then?

With the squad we have now got you have to be aiming for promotion but that is a long way away and until then I will just enjoy all of the fantastic players we have managed to bring to the club. Despite the flat end to last season the rugby we played all year was a joy to watch week after week and if we can repeat that sort of rugby next season then we are all in for another treat of a year.

Don't want to pee on everybody's chips and the lad's now a Leyther so he'll get my full support but....

From what I saw and read about him at Les Cats he was a waste of money for them. Possibly he had injury problems and if he turns out to be another Gordon Lewis or Mick Collins nobody will be more chuffed than me, but he's got a lot to do to convince me.
