I’m sure that I read when the RFL announced that the 2023 league structures will stay the same as they are now, that the Championship GF will be at a neutral venue. But as you point out that is not what the operational rules state so I must be wrong and have dreamed it.

I made the comment on the understanding that the top team takes home advantage, which if it is Leigh, will be very much favoured over going to your ground in my opinion. No travel, home comforts, and a field of play better suited to our team make-up right now.
I think this is going to be a really tight duel at the top and I would much rather be on the right end of the score difference come the last few games.
I of course know that promotion will ultimately come down to one game (should we get there), but a home game for us could make the small difference as I don’t confidently fancy us at your place as we look right now, if it works out that way.
I am also realistic enough to know that come the playoffs either one of us could get picked off at any stage.
