Whilst speaking of PW71 and of bonus questions, the below one was set on The Bulls’ forum last week (Bongser presently 13th from a field of 33 – they’ve seemingly more ‘bulls’ on that forum when it comes to preds):

Bonus (in honour of the start of the Women's SL) What will be the total number of points scored in BOTH the Bulls men AND Bulls women's games on Sunday? 5 points if you are within 10 points of the total
As Bongser has precedent inasmuch as the England ladies team is dubbed The Lionesses, he hopes there will be no knee-jerk reaction to what follows as being in any way sexist.
Thine host can well understand that it would be deemed inappropriate for Bradford to name their women’s team “Bradford Cows” as that is a despicable pejorative. However, he wondered whether there might be a few “feminisations” that would raise a smirk. As we have a few of us (in every sense) on this thread: UP THE COMICS (and comediennes)!
Bongser will start with these and hope that others might chip in a couple of other witty ones.
York City Knights -> York City Knight-Mares
Hemel Stags -> Hemel Hens
Coventry Bears –> Coventry “Bear” Ladies (think Godiva)
Saint Helens -> Saints Helen
Parramatta Eels -> Parramatta She-Eel-Aghs (Lovett)
Manly Warringah Sea Eagles -> WoManly Warringah She Eagles
(One from the past) Halifax Blue Sox -> Halifax Blue Stockinkz
Carrying on from that:
Rochdale Hornets -> Rochdale Fishnets (dodged a bullet there, see Brahms comment below!)
A composer chappy
called Johannes Brahms once said (auf Deutsch) “The most important notes are the ones that you let fall under the table.” Bongser has let a few ideas fall under the table, mainly to keep him out of trouble as Johannes and he have been joined this evening by their mutual friend Franz Liszt.
Have fun, hopefully, but stay within the modest bounds of yada yada yada....
As Bongser has been speaking in German all night with John und Frank (not Frank1 btw), here’s another:
Newcastle Thunder -> Newcastle Donnas (stet) - c’mon Charlie, you’ve a red nose – which reindeer was closest behind your cousin Rudolph?
For any lady viewers, this is a two way street and Bongser will start you off.
As (in Association Football) Doncaster Belles have seen far more success than the Rovers, perhaps:
Doncaster Belles -> Doncaster Bellenz (NOT aimed at Wanderer!)
REMEMBER the yada yada yada bit.
