Thats the problem with P&R especially for the promoted team.
Gary Schofield can make his sensationalist predictions all he likes but the existing team have the advantage.
It took Trinity 5 years before we could challenge in SL. Same for Salford whilst Widnes never really managed it. Hudds and Hull could throw money at it but Hudds have still never won anything much and it took Hull a while, ditto HKR.
Truth is being in SL from the start was the key. The only way around this issue is a five year franchise but that’s decisive in itself as it’s just not the British way.
Best of luck and I mean that but you’ll need it, we still do and it’s now 22 seasons in SL for us.
On the plus side you do have excellent facilities and maybe if sense prevails there will be no relegation this year. That one years grace could be the making of you if used wisely.
