Stereo Vision:

Stereo vision--or stereoscopic vision --probably evolved as a means of survival. With stereo vision, we can see WHERE objects are in relation to our own bodies with much greater precision--especially when those objects are moving toward or away from us in the depth dimension. We can see a little bit around solid objects without moving our heads and we can even perceive and measure "empty" space with our eyes and brains.

It's a £500,000 pitch with state of the art irrigation and drainage systems. It is watered constantly to maintain the optimal surface. Nothing sinister there. All the top premiership grounds irrigate before play commences to have the best surface for play. The head groundsman is the former head groundsman at Old Trafford so I think he is far more qualified to make a descision about watering the pitch than some message board troll.
