if you look at the start of the season and to now how many games have been rearranged (not a lot) its the ones that have that need looking at for fans.all the matches given to us before the season started i have used my hols for so iam doing my bit but when they throw a fixture in like that then it needs looking at.whos to blame, me for buying a season ticket if so wont happen again
dparky need a sample to see the quality of your dvds (how about the fax game to test)
We had to film from behind the posts in that one due to the state of the Shay...and believe me when I say it left a lot to be desired and we'll probably be faced with the same view in a couple of weeks... Conditions there were hardly ideal - the away team changing room was 2 of those big industrial hold-all crates - while the performance of the team was questionable, amongst other words! There nowt wrong with the commentary though!
I know the point you are getting at but I also know that the club have been pushing for a weekend date to no-avail and eventually had to settle on a midweek date. It's a sad state of affairs and to be honest I felt like you when Toulouse were foistered upon us in this competition because that's an away trip I can't make.
It would be good if the club could look into perhaps additionally offering what is it this year? 12 game season tickets to also offering 11, 10, 9 and half season passes. I don't know whether this is possible.
I also know that the club will not respond officiall to things being placed on here. I'd suggest dropping them an e-mail with your concerns: davidbradshaw@leighrl.co.uk

once only offer and you blew it (the dvds suit the rfl who have no complain at all about them), if you notice andrews 'sig' he posts as a private person on here as do we all, people should take notice of that, you should also notice that it was the FA who gave the refunds not a club so your comparrison is false, also by missing ONE game you have lost no money at all if you compare the cost of a season ticket to the combined cost of EVERY league game.
sorry fred totally wrong i have lost money i paid for said number of games as offered by leigh i.e. i paid total amount of money for a number amout of games. yes i got it cheaper than going to every game and paying on the door but still where people pay say 14 - 16 quid ive not done the maths i get each game say for 10 quid so if i miss 1 i lose 10 quid HELLO then times that by 2 and BINGO lose lose lose
god you are so stupid at times
oh but you get in for 10 quid so you save 4-6 quid every game so that makes it ok for you to work and earn money and miss games cause YOU HAVE SAVED MONEY BAH!
totally not the point fool
no doubt ill hear all your boring dribble after this post fred this fred that zzzzzzzzzzzz boring read all your boring miserable posts bothered not

look now i know where i stand and no doubt other people just like us know, me and the wife will not put up with it next season and maybe others won't also, look after your core fans that pay the wages ( who buy a season ticket like us)so then build on that dont kick them in the goolies sorry but you APARKY (thinking or you do represent leigh on this forum)well then leigh have not given me any reason what so ever for me and the wife to purchace a season ticket next year, been season ticket holders for years.im not buying a lottery ticket to watch leigh. I LOVE LEIGH AND WATCHING THEM (we are not a charity we are not rich come on we do our best) I DO HOPE YOU PASS THIS ON TO YOUR MANAGERS (two true supporters)???????!!!!!!!! but you have really turning me and the wife off we can easilly listen on't radio (wireless) or look in after on teletext of course we would keep an eye on leigh but no coffers going into the club from us would rather go but come on look after your own
rant over PM ME any solution to purchace a season ticket next season otherwise bye bye see you on't teletext or sky news HOPE NOT
Look at my signature, then re-read your post.
I answered your question, if you don't like the answer then that aint my problem.
Fixture re-arrangements due to cup ties havent been dreamt up by me, or the club for that matter, in the last two months. They have been a
part of the game since the year dot.
I replied to your post to answer your question, not to give you a reason to buy a season ticket next year.

 ta fred but sorry not good enough i dont moan at much but if this is the attitude that aparky (rep for leigh rl on this board) and leigh take on season ticket holders the core fans then look at wembley and england, the game had been on the calindar all season then all of a sudden on the day of playing a tube strike pops up what do they do announce if you cant make the game you will get your money back
Alexs Dad : You can't blame the club for Fax getting into the next round of the Challenge Cup. DOH! no poop i can blame them for the rearranged date and time though
all im asking for, because of the stupid day and time arranged by other bodies (nothing to do with me i might ad or any of our supporters)is to see sence and refund peoples money back who cant make it(that they have worked hours for) like i said before im not a charity it just urks me off when us the little people have no say and get poop on well enough is enough. if leigh want two season tickets next year then simple compensate me for this balls up other wise see ya
will wait for an announcement from leigh rl (not holding breath) if nothing then that says it all

Actually the discount was 3 games.
So only if you miss 4 games, do you make a loss. Miss less than 3 you still make a saving, just not as much of one.
HELLO do you understand where i am coming from
OK ILL SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU
lets say i go to asda and pay lets say 10 quid every month for the same groceries delivered to my door every month (thats 10 quid that ive worked damn hard for, for the same stuff every month are you with me)
then on say month 4 they cant get the stuff what i want so dont put it in my dilivery but hey we will still charge you for it(you really think a professional organisation like asda would do that NO) not without some sort of compensation
it just takes the p!ss out of us
as for andrew your skills as a leigh rep needs looking at 1 out of 10 could do better
thx dparky DONE finally someone with sence "I also know that the club will not respond officiall to things being placed on here. I'd suggest dropping them an e-mail with your concerns: davidbradshaw@leighrl.co.uk"
thx again

In our league, there is an overall problem with fixtures.
Eleven teams means only ten home games. Now, you can set off with the best intentions, to play them all on a Sunday. Then SKY step in and say 'we want two of your games on Thursday nights'. Toulouse then say 'we don't play Sundays away', (of course, they say it in French!) so the RFL say 'you will have to play Saturday'. Then the RFL say, 'you must have a home fixture, over Easter' - hence Barrow on a Monday. (Luckily, we didn't get home games on the May Bank Holidays!) So, it's impossible to play almost half our home games, on a Sunday, through no fault of our own.
Added to this lot, some teams in our league only play Fridays, or Saturdays, or get to be on SKY on Thursdays, which then makes postponed games difficult to re-arrange.
I've already made my feelings known about the date of the 'Fax re-arranged game, (I think we should have tried to get them at a date that 'disadvantaged' them, or equally 'disadvantaged' both teams) but the biggest problem lies in there being too few home league games, in my opinion.

I'll tell you what, why don't we re-imburse all season ticket holders, and let everyone in for free next game?
Then when the club's in administration we can all sit round a big table and discuss whether or not it was a good idea in hinesight.
As I said before, if you miss two games you are still making a saving if you attend the rest.
Miss 3 you break even, miss 4 you're at a loss.
Now just in case you missed it, here is what it says in my signature.
