every time donlan looks up hes got 4 or 5 running at him...like previous post said superman spiderman batman could all be there at the moment...we are absolutely pathetic and for once can all you rosey reds look at the table!!!!!!! we are definate relegation candidates!!!! time to get real guys...this is one of our many lowest ebbs!!!!

The issue of our support play (or lack of it) isn't just a Rowley problem, we've had it pretty much since Neil Turley retired. It's a basic skill that is almost impossible to defend against, yet there isn't a hint of it ever making an appearance in our play any time soon.

Agree about the support play but Stanton was everywhere looking for the ball today there was an instant when Donlan took the ball deep in our half and Stanton was there but what did he do .... he ran the other way to nobody ,Stanton must have been pig sick today .

I'm encouraged that at least one player out of the seventeen has an interest in getting the ball, but if Stanton does it on a regular basis then he could be left glaringly out of position should we turn the possession over in such situations.

Still can't understand why Watson gets praised

I hear "Watson gets us around the park" or "where would we be without him".

All I can say is it must be Lilford Park he gets us round as it's not round the rugby field and as for where we would be without him - well after most games this season we couldn't really have done any worse could we? He may tackle but on attack he is too slow and his kicks are pathetic. Today, we are losing with not long to go and he kicks through on the 2nd tackle straight to them A scrum half MUST be quick and be able to pass FAST. Watson strolls around and passes like a girl at times.

Morty scores 5 tries in the reserves yet can't get a game today.
Donlan done nowt all season - I think LISA should direct their money elsewhere in coming seasons, away from individuals.
Maden - saw the Fev away game on TV and his tackling was bad then and he still gets picked - I was slated on here several months ago for suggesting we tried to sign Worrincy before Fax got him because he couldn't tackle - I know who I would rather have in our team.
Stewart - every fan I know calls him but has been a regular all season.
Forwards - (apart from Morrison & Hill) are all not good enough. None can make a break or pass a ball.

I did boooo today and see nowt wrong with that. Artists used to get booed off stage if they was cr@p so whats the difference.

Mr Thomas, Mr Coffey etc - you are guilty of running this club down and I wonder why you are doing it. I appreciate the money AT puts in but for what we are getting he may as well not bother.

Finally, a few months ago a job was advertised in the League Express for someone (forgot the exact role but it mentioned marketing etc) - never heard if that post was filled anyone shed any light on this.

Every set of 6 we get has to go through him because we have nobody else capable. how many pivots do we have?

He must be getting the ball and calling the shots 50-60 times a game. He's going to make a few mistakes when he's carrying all that on his shoulders.

Derek Pyke used to get similar stick from the terrace for spilling the ball 2 or 3 times a game. The fact that he was 10 years ahead of his time for a ball playing prop was lost on many.

We never support the payers when we break i have said this a few times on this MB.

I have watched Leigh train a few times lately as they have been pracisting on the field near where i live and to be honest it been a joke, when i played amature rugby for Thatto Heath we trained harder. Too much messing about, Rowley is trying to be one of the lads instead of the coach so i can see why nothing works its beacause nothing is practised.......

Ah but he should'nt have to should he ,as it was he did'nt get caught out but if the ball wont come to him he will go looking for the ball thats the type of player he is .

OK I understand that but who the hell has recruited this squad and not done anything about it. Surely a half decent amateur pivot player would have been a better aquisition than Nanyn for example. Maybe Watson gets the stick because he is the leader out there and his troops are letting him down - like a boss would be blamed for poor staff results.

I find it unbelievable that our MOM is a guy who has to come inside to look for the ball and spends all afternoon trying to duck under peoples arms and not really making any progress. I quite like Stanton, he is a crowd pleaser but it's a bad situation when that is all we can offer all afternoon.

But if every player did the same then the shape of the side should fall apart. He needs to learn to be more disciplined in his positioning, and instead give the pivot(s) a rollocking for not spreading the ball out wide rather than risk leaving a gaping hole at a turnover.
