All of the speculations and very well most probably comments of substance that have been aired in the past 3 pages have to have a source of instigation or even a place to rest the blame. What could very well have been the saviour of Leigh RLFC a few seasons ago could well be its undoing in something yet to be mentioned, indeed some people may be reticent or even afraid to bring the name Derek Beaumont into the discussion, but as they say the Buck stops at the top, has he interfered to much, could he have come down with a more forceful attitude to the obvious trouble makers (I don't know who they are) but must exist with some of the comments reported on these pages, or has he set the wrong example which his charges are following. Why has DB insisted all along and unequivocally Jukes is the best man for the job, when a vast number of other people see flaws in his leadership? Who is responsible for the signings who are clearly not up to the job in hand, why after a number of seasons of success has he suddenly relinquished his Director of Rugby mantle when the going has got difficult, perhaps the only person that can seriously answer these questions is the man that DB sees in the mirror. I want a strong Owner, one who appoints the right people, someone who has mastered the art of delegation, and someone who leads by example, all the exampls of unrest I am reading in these pages shouts loudly to me that the man at the top does not and has not got the respect his employees. He should be going through the club with a fine tooth comb and get it back on track.

That's exactly as I see it, the buck stops at the top.
Right , we played crap , we lost , it happens , but it doesn't mean the player hate the coaches , or the players don't like each other , or the coaches hate the players or that anybody is interfering
In any working environment , especially one as pressurised as a pro sports team there will be fall outs , but that is not the reason we lost , we played poorly , that's it , it happens all the time to everybody , even the bloody Robots knock on in the pre match credits for christs sake
So will everybody please stop behaving like owed washer women gossiping over the back fence , its quite ridiculous

In that case I suggest you stop reading all the bollox being spouted on this thread

We go again next week
Not being one to spread rumours, but I hear we have offered terms to those robots for next season! They should fit in well.
I know Widnes came bottom but this also happened to Wakefield and saved for the playoffs if know in the bottom 4. Widnes have never had a half back pairing all season for more than 3 games. It looks like Craven will be out again and all season we have had half our first team squad injured. Luckily most are fit now and that is why results are happening for us.
If the players are falling out I'd bloody well hope they've had a damn good punch up in training this week and got the frustration out in the open. They all need to now act professional and whether they agree with the coaching team or not go out on the field and give a professional display. We haven't got time for feeling sorry or overpaid sulks, its time the badge patting / kissing actually showed it meant something and thus its time they gave it everything, if that means we go down then so be it - but lets go down fighting. In relation to going down I think its time the club started to get that realisation in place as we need a fighting spirit on & off the field with everyone now putting behind childish squabbles and start backing this club, you can have all the fallouts you want over the summer-now its time for players and coaching staff to be professional and do the best for the Supporters and the club.
We are in a relegation battle and can easily now be considered as favourites to go down, we need soldiers on & off the field - its time to support the club , to do that its time for the club to galvanise everything on & off the field for 3 or 4 games into a club worthy of support. That battle starts at Warrington on Saturday.
That's the point Jenky , quality team sports players , even amateurs don't take petty squabbles and issues onto the pitch , once they cross the line it's all forgotten
Play RL at anything other than 100% committment and you'll come off injured , but sometimes that committment gets in the way of playing better , too much trying to run through a brick wall rather than engineering a bridge over or round it on Sunday
Too many times going 5 h1t or bust rather than playing the percentages tying Widnes up over the line or tight in the corners
As for the end of the game , yes I prefer it when the players come over win or lose , but I'm sure those that didn't are fully aware of the implications of the performance and loss , they didn't need telling
I'll be there on Saturday , hopefully many more will be as well , but each to there own , those that decide not to are well within their rights and will receive no criticism from me

Three of us - still our team, however much we criticise them.
