Pointless signing anyone until we know what the court case outcome is. If it throws a load of cost at us we roll and start again, if that's in C1 then 5k is a good deal for a PT player if a big win bonus is with it.

Its a zero hours contract, £5k guarantee based upon 600 hours pa min plus win bonus of £500 per game

14 teams in Championship next year so 26 regular rounds + CC & Blue Peter Badge Play Off Shield.

An ever present through the regular rounds would earn £192.30 per game, less per week with pre season training etc.
Add as a rough guesstimate another 6 games for the other comps & an ever present would earn £156.25 per game, again less per week, the team would have to win every week to make it pay with bonuses !

What level of player is going to sign up for that ?

That assumes that League 1 is an option. The Bulls, despite preferring that, were forced to play the season following their liquidation in The Championship encumbered by having no players a week before its start and a 12 point deduction that guaranteed relegation.

As far as three year plans go, Bradford Phoenix' plan for year three will be to stabilise in The Championship.

If this whole mess isn't sorted by the time next season's fixtures are announced (all too soon) then Leigh could be left grasping the distasteful end of that same stick!

Ste , the words Peanuts and Monkeys spring to mind with these Contracts, and who agree a Contract with Leigh Centurions anyway, after this season's debacle concerning contracts.
