I think the leagues outside of Super League should get together and discuss things like pricing strategies etc, the common goals. I know Starbug had an excellent idea about everyone going with the same kit manufacturer for example to save on costs.

It's hard to promote a competition that is treated as a second class citizen and where despite there being good money available to win it, gets you in a lottery to go into a room where you know Widnes or Toulouse will get a Franchise.

We need to turn the rest of the game back to winter and try and appeal to those floating Super League fans who don't have games to attend.

It's a damn shame because I've been entertained by the passion of a lot of games and that league table is wide open at the moment.

Well I, and many more I know would prefer warm / sunny days than winter mudbaths.

Do you think these people would turn out on a cold wet & windy afternoon to spend a minimum of £16 when MUFC or Bolton etc where live on telly?

Go with a Saturday evening in summer to catch new & floating fans.

I see your point but the game competed with football for fans for 100 years before summer rugby came about.

I suppose it's a chicken and egg scenario. I'll be supporting my team for as long as its there and I'm here was just thinking of other avenues which have probably been done to death anyway.

On the young lads, just dont expect them all to become superstars. Some will come and some will go, but if those who are up and coming see local lads getting a chance in the team, they will be more likely to sign for you than your SL neighbours.

At last someone sees the light,5 drives and a kick i not acceptable, every team has an individual player with flair,except US, even hunslet, Keighley etc, no disrespect, Find these players, we keep banging on about money,WE ARE ALL the same, most clubs don't get our crowds and charge les, which means less income, which means players on less money, so y do they play bettr rugby, wake up 4 once and stop saying aww give ema chance, we are CRAP,

Lets get one thing straight do not put this team in the same bracket as the early 90's we HAVE effort this season just players who arn't good enough when will Leigh fans notice the difference in effort from young lads (this season) and quality players playing for money (Moore, Grix, Doran, Moran TKL, etc etc When we had these players in our team we SHOULD of been battering sides but we didn't !! So this season we over achieve to a certain extent by winning 3 out of 6 (should of won two of the others!) we have only not got points in one game (against a team of well paid ex NRL men) The team need our supprt and also need some additions quickly, lets just hope the performance at widnes and result is repeated on Thursday

I cant help but support them i really feel for the lads its a young side and it will take time ,patients is needed not constant slating.

Of course its all about money it only spends once (especially with a salary cap) the blame lies squarley at the door of the person who signed these players THE COACH and of course they have to have a chance they are the only ones there.
