that just sums me up as well,no one was more passionate than myself about my team leigh,lose and i wud feel sick,couldnt eat and wud go over and over the match in my head to see were we went wrong.but now although i still want us to win i take losing with a pinch of salt and the reason is,the people who run our game have taken away the dream,never will we play in super league,and never will we play at wembley in the challenge cup final.we are and will be for evermore a feeder club for the elite

You sum up how a lot of fans of great traditional clubs feel and its the main reason I can't watch SL games all the positive drivel that they go on about makes me sick and the game I love is being destroyed whilst they pontificate about how each year SL gets better and better.

Lets face it both Widnes and Leigh crowds are nothing like we were pulling in a few years ago.

Watto disappeared in the GF against HKR for us, but overally I think he is a quality player.

I'll tell you why he 'dissappeared! he looked around at 'has beens' Terry O'Connor and Barrie Mac and also the poor effort his halfback partner Dennis Moran put in and decided, why bother I.m getting hammered! A certain Ginger scrum half had the luxury of a committed pack 'running' off him!

Not quite. TOC and Barrie had good games but the rest of our pack had to work hard cos Webster kicked us to death and Watson's kicking was awful. Moran spent so much time defending he was knackered. We came back well in the second half but HKR were just too good for us.
