Had Joey Williams not allegedly denied he was coming to England to the press in Australia no one would have cared and it would have been announced as it should have been. Nothing amateurish from the club re:Williams.

Players are flying around the Championship sides but still none in our direction however

Opinions

Wasn't it announced we were simply waiting for visa clearance..no problem there. We would have heard nothing more until his visa was granted or denied. What I was trying to point out was unnecessary attention was drawn to this signing due to a press report involving the player himself and not the club. Maybe I was at fault for first drawing peoples attention to this press report in a small local newspaper, but if I hadn't someone else would have done.

Nothing wrong with posting something already in the public domain.

Regarding Andy,s post on the official site he did it in good faith and he,s apologised end of as far as I can see.

It would have come out anyway Demon! If you don't want to include the Williams debacle then fine don't, personally I thought it was extremeley embarrassing for the club!

If your happy with the clubs current transfer policy of announcing signing who don't turn up for months if at all then that's fine! If your also happy that half way through the season we also have no recognised first team stand off then that's fine aswell! Personally I am not!

That's not what I'm talking about! I'm talking about the "I've never even heard of Leigh" report! The clubs name is being repeatedly dragged through the mud and to be honest I'm sick of trying to defend them to armchair fans who stay at home because of the negative news items they read!

Regarding todays issue if Andrew has made a genuine mistake then fine, we all make mistake and he shouldn't be chastised for it! I know the hard work and effort he puts in so apologies if my previous posts sounded like I was havin a go at him, that wasn't my intention!
