Press release re season tickets suggests Andy Thornley has been re-signed for 2021, although cannot find any specific statement from the club todate

Finger on the pulse as ever, Cokey lad.

Happy with that signing. Just hope he, and we, get a 2021 season - at whatever level.

Yep, absolutely B&B. I've already purchased my ST, so fingers crossed that we can get some action.

Applause for Monty

Announcements coming thick and fast all of a sudden. Has DB been emboldened by brisk season-ticket uptake or has he really decided to go for the golden ticket of the open spot in SL?

Regarding Steve B's above post, Andy Thornley is indeed mentioned as retained by the ST Launch post though not elsewhere. Any light to be shone by Cokey or Monty?

Welcome to Steve B btw :thumb:

It's a dilemma. The reduced SKY share to the successful candidate (or smuggle in) is obviously disadvantageous but, judging by the number of hats in the ring, Championship chairmen seem to be suspecting the door to be slammed for a period thereafter.

Worst case scenario for the promoted club would be to endure a season's worth of drubbings, absorb the financial shortfall, see disillusioned support drain away, be relegated, replaced by a promoted club, and THEN to hear the drawbridge being hauled up.

Hmmm.

TBF Bongo, DB has signed some decent players so far,so i don't think he would be too perturbed now to only receive another million quid if we was granted SL next year. :thumb:
