Cant believe what I've just seen in that second half. We went into self destruction mode. What should have been an easy win nearly wasn't.

Well worth coming back from holiday early our defence at times was outstanding all the lads played well Riddy at a brilliant game ref was up n down with his decisions we made some basic errors which resulted in try's for Fax great game hope Hoppy is ok after limping off just before the end

1st 20 minutes of the 2nd half was a bit 'scary', we had a helluva lot of tackling to do in our own half, but some fantastic defence near our own line.....GREAT WIN !

If we 'thrash' Keighley & Swinton, and Fev lose to Keighley....CHAMPIONS !!! (well, league leaders shield)

How anyone couldn't/didn't get excited at tonights match was watching a different game to me ,even though there's nothing at the end of the season it was still nail biting at the end ,I am referring to the other thread about games being friendlies ,well it still got me shouting and am surprised I can still talk ,very entertaining even with the mistakes . Great win ,well done lads

Tremendous game. We did our best to bugger it up but our defence was unreal at times, especially early in the second half, and the backing from the terraces was top notch. Loved it.

very well done to big gaz, also thanks to the leyther Penky, who with his petulant childish whining and moaning throughout the match did us a huge favour, He bombed a possible halifax 6 pointer just on half time. let's have no more talk of him coming to leyth

Yes because 1 bad game means he must of had a terrible season. Dane Manning had an average game for us a few weeks back dosnt mean he hasnt been the best second row in the comp all season.

Don't think Penky had a bad game. Admittedly, he (and Handforth) seemed to query most of the decisions, but I'm one 'Leyther' who has always rated Penky.

To be fair to him it was one of his poorer games for us this year. But its going to happen, players have off days and you cant afford to have too many of them against a good team.
