Hold non a minute. Let me get this stright. Paul Rowley is given information from what must have been a credible source that his visa is sorted and Paul gave a statement or interview to a news paper that he is pencilled in for the Whitehaven game. The club must have spoken to Paul before he did this so the club must have been given this information. You dont get clearence then dont get clearence, unless he has knocked out the govenor. The RFL have got nothing to do with this. We have been told repeatedly by the club that they have done everything they can and have backed us. Is this information wrong also? Is this the reasdon the club said nothing about the article in the Reporter? There is something that stinks and the smell is again coming from our own door. Honesty is the only thing that can stop me from also washing my hands of this club now. I have called for fans not to walk away from the club because of the results but those and the thought that there is really, really a group of people running ( or not ) the club that have no consideration for its fans turns my stomach. In fact this news has made me well and truly p1$$ed off.
Well we all are because we can,t remember when we had a stand off who had pace and could tackle. We can,t count Moran cos he missed a lot of games and for others he played fullback. It,s been the same in that position for a lot of seasons but as some say what I know about RL can be written on a very small postage stamp.
Now lets get to the remarks allegedly made by Paul Rowley to the Leigh Reporter. I don,t know if he said it neither do you lets wait and see.
Another thing we are struggling because we are predictable, we play one way, we have one very weak side defensively, I see it match after match you do, everyone does, the coaching staff do and the opposition coaching staff watch the DVD and they know it too.
What is being done about it ? Nothing,And now without Williams we are stuck with this same predictable game unless it is changed.
Well what would I do well for a start I,d try Mort or Stanton at stand off and drop backs who are hopeless on defence.
This seasons rugby from our point of view has with a couple of exceptions been dire but the club need to realise if we get relegated there might be no way back.
