Why would you put out an official announcement. Someone else could come in and offer him more than Leigh did or even 'persuade' him not to sign. Either way you can chose whether to believe me or not.

well time will tell with tonga, i have my doubts. He's obviously a good player, you dont play for the aussie national team otherwise, but if indeed he has been fit for a while why has he not played. So as stated earlier i was not trolling i really did think Hayne was going to sign for you, it would have been a statement from yourselves but as also stated earlier you signed Matty Dawson......
I think maybe you could push for SL this year KR blow very hot and cold and it seems Hudds are just blowing cold all the time, maybe its your year.

I would assume the coach would discuss these things with his gaffer if only as a sounding board or to rubber stamp. Most clubs have someone above the coach these days eg Sheen at Salford, that person may say it's your call mate but it's your head if it goes wrong . I like the discussion route as its unified and most folk have a boss wven the chancellor
