Essentially we've had just enough , 19/20 to pick from each week , but not always in the positions we need , plus we are under no illusions that our squad isn't the youngest , so some could have done with rests and others have played with injuries

Just the usual , like most other clubs , just strange it never seems to get a mention in the media unlike most other clubs

It was said we had one of the smallest squad 25 I think it was and one of those Lewis Foster is out on loan and so is Ridy now leaves us with 23
One of those Clare is out for season more or less

Looking forward to what the Review Panel decide on Chris Hill's Elbow to the young Widnes Players head, followed, by his Head Butt on Chapelhow ? I wonder what on field decision Jimmy Childs would have given had it been Gareth Hock or, Jaimie Acton Childs didn't think those two incidents warranted 10 mins in the bin yet, Hanbury was binned for holding down and that proved to be very costly for Widnes!

That's the trouble with the laws as they stand. The RFL see technical offences such a holding down in certain circumstance deserving of an automatic 10 minutes in the sin bin yet violence is left to the discretion of the referee.

Shows lack of balance in the original squad. Able to send two pivots out on loan, but a centre gets injured and we have to reshuffle the whole back line.

Indeed , I'm still angry that McShane's blatant dangerous and deliberate IMO spear tackle against Hock in the opening minute of our 1 st game warranted nothing more than a penalty ( and a warning for Gareth for his reaction ) , and yet he then received a 3 match ban , it was a televised game , ridiculous
