Well preseason started today. The leigh team all had there scientific assesments done in their new training gear. The 5 in my previous post trained elsewhere in last years gear and not with this years squad.

Would've thought any legal action should ultimately fall on the RFL, seeing as they voided the contracts.

Wouldn't be a court case anyway. It would be a tribunal.

It could be damaging or at the least disruptive, the fact that they are still knocking around the club and without a contract - well one we are unaware of - says that there is something going on.

Tend to agree,but if their contracts only expire 30th November what can be done?

Contracts are only voided when the current season expires, which appears to be 30th November contractually . The issue as I read it is that the club aren't paying up to that date

I always thought contracts were up 1 st November as pre season starts near that date? Must be related to SL contracts being void after relegation or SL funding ceasing

Contracts end November 30th and some players who left last year had to take legal action before they got paid

How strange, so you have players training with club a whilst being contracted to club b

I don't know about the current situation but last year they trained away from the club not with the 2017 players
