ROUND TWO ROUND UP (finally, Bongser hears you sigh):The early Toulouse vs Widnes match-up was here distinguished by three things. A & B by Bongser & Zools missing this first one and C by Pubbers nailing a correct margin (first of the season). Only three of the remaining forecasters went for the salt miners.
Our glorious Johnny Come Lately leader said in Round One:

Well, Evvo there was a veritable rash of Jokers in Round Two to instruct you how to play a Joker or not.
The main event saw a disappointing result for the Leythers amongst us and, doubly so, for Tommers who scored nul points but played his Joker to double that up to...eerrrrmm...neauwt. Better luck next time. Most, like he, stayed loyal, but Chazzers, Chayders & (unsurprisingly) Donny Juan picked up points. Vanners blew a seven game Pokemon through his loyalty. King in The North!
Chayders played his Joker on The Bulls, called correctly on the winner and doubled his money. Clean sweep from this WPL on that game.
Both Pubbers & Zools cannily played their Joker on The Trannies beating The Hairnets. Clean sweep again!
THAT’S ALL THE INITIAL JOKERS DEALT WITH. THANKFULLY NOBODY SPOTTED THE PROBABLY MOST FRUITFUL USE. AS WE ARE AGAIN A MERE NINE WALKERS, BONGSER HAS EDITED OUT THE POSSIBILITY OF THE “JOKERBON” – NO JOKERS ON THE BBQ PLEASE, LADIES & GENTS
Another clean sweep on the Fev victory. Barrow losing to Sheffield caught most napping (congrats to Evvo, Pubbers, Zools and Vanners – more on the latter later). Chayders blew his Pokemon chance there, hard Chays. Only Tommers’ hunch prevented a clean sweep on a win for York. However Vanners (he again) nailed the correct margin.
As to the BBQ, various sources state that Leythe went 10-6 ahead between the eleventh & twelfth minutes as a player, newly returned to the WN7 fold, Pownded up to the try line and Pownced thereover. Grand Prix Max of 25pts to:

Up the comics !

YES – It’s Vannus da Mannus, the Van-Cougar himself. His “great feats of strength” in Round Two (55pts) also see him pick up the WWB of a further 25pts.
Strictly speaking, Bongser just broke user protocol by quoting from a PM but when VL sees the table below, Bongser doubts that the self-deprecating ex-pat will have any quibble (as he polishes his newly burnished Centurions helmet) and expects our lovely moderators to turn a Nelsonesque eye. After all B&B is licking the wounds inflicted by a good spanking by this week’s wooden spoon.
Let’s see how the table has turned: Well for the first time (to Bongser’s recollection) it is
Vanners on 115pts Jj
EVVO on 107 Jj
Pubbers on 80 j
Charlie on 75 Jj
Donners on 65 Jj
Tommers on 63 j
Zools on 59 j
Bongser on 55 Jj
Chayders on 51 j
Tight at the bottom, tight at the top.
