Yep it would....if you win the N.R.C you can apply for a franchise (as long as you are in the championship), just means we would have to promoted next season also.

Yes it would also being in the GF for 2011 would count (read the wording of the last years refusal notices) so if they choose the 2012 teams before then clubs should have a recourse to law?

the franchise applications go in in 2011 so it would allow us to apply if we won the N.R.C next year.

No offence mate but i think your getting a little carried away there, the championship 1 salary cap is much lower than the championship cap and you would meet stiff opposition from the league above so getting to the final is very doubtful. Your crowds would also drop even more (possible sub 1,000) how can you then afford to run the stadium etc.

Getting relegated would be a disaster for Leigh.

And we all know every team stays under the salary cap.

We would of course miss the massive away followings that we have had this season!!!!!

Not good but not a disaster,we had little chance of getting a Franchise next in my opinion. I'm still convinced the goal posts will be moved yet again and none of the teams currently in SL will be relegated unless of course they go out of business.

You reap what you sow and we gambled on an inexperienced squad this year and unfortunately its not worked, but several of the players will develop into good ones and its up to the board to keep them and build up a team again.
