If Sam has to go (and unfortunately for us he has to play at the best possible level for him) I would sooner him play for the best in the League than an underachieving SL club, then it shows the Leigh area produce some of the best talent in the country, how anyone can say Wigan are our rivals on the field have they been asleep for twenty years, I remember the days when we were rivals and I would hope my kids get to see those times again.

No prejudices on my part, in fact a compliment to Wigan on the number of young players especially forwards they currently have

LISA are a massive part of Leigh Centurions family and fundamental to the club and its future growth although independent, one of my first duties having got involved was to attend the LISA AGM as I have nothing but respect for people who support this great club no matter what like the members do.

Keith and Linda have pledged support to me and I have pledged support to them it's a mutual respect and everyone else I have met are fantastic people Leigh Centurions through and through. My aim as someone who is passiontate about the community at the club is to help them grow not just to go cap in hand them for money.

I've no knowledge of promises of shares etc but I can promise honest answers to questions and I have stated to LISA they will be welcome to BOD meetings as usual going forward.

Let's not look for problems and dirt that doesn't exist eh.

FWIW ,LISA was promised a share for every £20000 invested, it was two years ago at a fans forum.
Your orginal posts on here were all for a fans owed club and by giving LISA shares in exchange for money invested would be a way of getting there. regards lynda

Not sure if its the case here (anyone know what the deal is - staying with us as a DR from Wigan or decided to go to Wigan at the season end ?) I know you can sometimes get it in football but I wish RL would go with when a player signs for another club its at the time he goes rather than announcing it months before.
Seems crazy (especially when you see it happen in SL months in advance and the player plays against his 'new' team).

Mossop off to the NRL next season.
Lauaki in his last year of his deal next year, then he'll be off.
Prescott - rumours he's a long term injury and may never play again.
Powell - big gamble from RU, who knows.

Hopkins looked a handful in the CC game, looks like a 'SW' type of player - good news if this comes off!
