The tribunal increased the sentence due to the fact the appeal was a joke. They have done this before when clubs have appealed against an open and shut case. Why we appealed is beyond me when we knew that it was almost guaranteed the sentence would get increased.

So should we appeal cases or just leave them? The majority were saying to appeal them early on in the season. Possibly the club are giving Acton every opportunity available before the bullet.

I've long had my doubts about the RFL, it's akin to what was the "old farts" RU had before it modernised itself and really took off as a sport.
These kind of Banana republic decisions just underline just how bad things are.

Short term as a club we use this as motivation for the 8's, we have a good enough squad so let's now start to play.
Long term there needs to be enough progressive owners to force change at the RFL as what we have is a not fit for purpose old boys network that needs ripping apart.

Jamie will have a long break and be ready to prove all his doubters wrong next season and start to erase the huge smear the RFL have put on him.
The 4 month "ban" is not worthy of comment as to do so would give those on the panel(s) credit and they are not worthy of that.

You appeal if you have new evidence that prooves the original decision was incorrect. Every suspension we've had this season was correct. The only people who have been saying we need to appeal the decisions are those who have been using their cherry & white hearts rather than their rational heads!

The thing is though is that the appeal was against the length of ban,he pleaded guilty to the offence. He has now been punished the same as Ben Flower.
