Yes i know you added IM to the list, you need to read even slower. I said i wasn't sure about IM, That's why i suggested that it should be Baloo. Now don't keep posting with that crap and confusing folk,it would be much easier to say what you really mean sometimes. The names i initially mentioned were SL coaches that KP was assistant to,so i would forget about Basil.

Gotta say I like DB’s comments today and nice to hear he is trying to look after Jukes post Rugby bu offering him a job. We live in the moment and forget about people post rugby. You only have to look at our captain mal alker to see how it can all go wrong. Be proud of your club and owner in acting in a dignified way.

Good luck for the rest of the season and hope u guys do well, but your not having Watto he’s a best coach for quite a while so imagine we would put up quite a fight as can see him having a bright future.

Given their time together at St.Helens. It will be interesting how Purtill's relationship with Cunningham materialises as a Head Coach and Director of Rugby over the coming weeks.

TBF - Was he the actual assistant coach to IM? TBH i'm not sure,either way, I wouldn't personally have IM for the head coach job at Leigh.

How many "caretaker" coaches, or those who have been promoted from within have gone on to keep the job, in any sport you care to think of?
.There are not to many, best I can think of was many nany years ago being Bob Paisley at Liverpool.

If our number 1 target is Watson we basically say our ambition is to get promoted and then just remain in Super League. In answer to an earlier comment about who could come in and wouldn’t accept DB interference. Tony Smith. He’s the only coach I see hard enough to manage this team and some backbone. Like or loathe him. He gets the job done. He’s my number one choice.
