How come they haven't been deducted the nine points for going into administration?

Don't the points deductions usually apply to the following season?

I though they were applied immediately unless the team in question were already relegated. Or is that in football? Rochdale and Widnes started the season on minus 9 but they went into administration during the close season.

Alot of it could be down to how long the RFL take to process the penalties, in the same vein as the salary cap penalties.

Not gonna make much difference anyway is it because they've hardly got a team to put on the pitch now anyway.
