The match sees the Students take part in their third consecutive final. After playing the opening group encounters as England and Scotland, the students re-grouped as Great Britain in their final group game and will line up as GB in the final.
Student Head coach Paul Fletcher is excited by the prospect.
“This will be our third Skanska Cup Final on the bounce and we always look forward to the occasion no matter who we're playing, “said Fletcher.
“We've come through some bruising encounters with BARLA over the last few years and I’m sure this will be just as tough.
“The Police have four or five ex-student players in their ranks so we know that they'll be very capable, but after our recent European tour we’ll go into this clash full of confidence.
“We've a strong Welsh presence in the side this year and the boys have really gelled, their attitude on tour was excellent and they can’t wait for kick off.”
However the holders will certainly not have it all their own way.
The British Police have progressed to the final with some impressive performances, notching wins against the RAF, Army and England Lionhearts on the way.
“It’s certainly a big game for us”, said Jon Hamer, British Police Team Manager.
“As holders the Students will probably go into the game as favourites, but we’ve played well so far in this competition and we’ll go into the game confident of coming away with the spoils.
