A certain feel good factor is now back in the air ,
You can see Leythers smiling they're flippin everywhere.
The rumours they spread thick and fast that Basil was returning ,
Only now the rumours are true or so we are learning.
Basils love for Lobby and for everything leyth can give ,
Our Millward is returning a Leyther , here to live .
Some people won't believe it until they actually see ,
The best coach we've had in donkeys years on the pitch at the LSV.
I hope no one has told him about the price of the beer ,
Don't worry Basil , it's Arthurs round when you arrive back here.
Lobby on tap and singing fans bringing the good times back ,
We know you've missed us Leythers and having the craic . (irish spelling)
But now Leythers are smiling we've got a job to do ,
Get our game on top and avoid the drop , no division two .
Whoops I meant championship one , god knows why they changed the name , When all the media frenzy has died down let us get back to our game .
Let's hope that we're still smiling when October comes around ,
Let's all have a disco when basils plane touches down .
We'll welcome Ian back to Leigh , he has been sorely missed ,
Feed him up with Lobby and we'll all go out and get P*ss* d .
