Even though we lost really really enjoyed the game, thought it was a very entertaining game and very quick. Batley will take some beating, very solid hard running mistake free rugby defo a John kear team and we must give them great credit, although I feel we came back at them strongly and had them holding on towards the end showed great spirit and work ethic as that could have ended up a pasting if we had give in. Great nights entertainment, well done both teams.

We looked sluggish early in the second half but then showed great determination to fight back and in the end a draw would v`e been a fair result.
Overall not too disappointed, after going 10-24 down we could ve folded like a pack of cards but we found some steel in our play.
The season is n`t won or lost after 1 game and I`d take a coming together ,for what in essence is a new team, in the latter stages of the comp.

Enjoyed the game even though we didn't get the win. Showed lots of spirit in the last 20mins. Wish the London Broncos, who i go and see, would do the same.

I thought that looked familiar Bart!

Cut out the daft penalties and defensive brainfarts and we won't be far off the top three or four. Batley have really set down a marker with their past two results though.

You're right there, Littler was a big miss tonight despite Shaw's tries. Nico might have offered summat different from dummy half as well and I'd hope will be reinstated next week.

nobody likes to lose, however i thought our pack was bossed by theirs tonight, i thought their halfs showed far more spark and gave them good direction, that is obviously excluding brierly who is the only one of our halfs who looked to pose them any problems going forward. missed nicholson, also littler, and big tommy. paul mennell their hooker said on prem sports we knew eigh would tire, well i did not think we tired, i think we were beaten by the better team end of. must say i shall be in attendance as usual next week, but i fear for us at fev, i really do, rowley lads prove me wrong please
