don't think he liked playing for Leigh, he always looked miserable.

In my opinion, once Ridyard's face didn't fit, I assumed Hampshire would get the nod there. Yes, he has/had a high opinion of himself, in that position, but again, I would have thought that confidence is an essential quality, especially at halfback.

I think Wane had already moved him to full back before he went to Cas. Had a spell there before they signed Bowen.

Ryan is an excellent utility player , but probably always 2 nd choice in any given position

Without doubt , Lee Smith became an excellent RL utility player after he lost his pace , I'd have kept him for SL as well

I have often wondered over the last couple of seasons that if we can see from the North and West Stands the obvious talents of various players, why couldn’t the coaching staff in their lofty perch?

Yes, he could have replaced the injured Dane Weston at prop given his physical appearance in his last Leigh outing at Headingly.

I sometimes wonder if these handsomely paid players in a FT environment really appreciate how lucky they are. In my day players used finish the match, get changed and within the hour would be clocking on for a gruelling long shift down Mosely Common pit.
