Not really over concerned about this one, Vikings pose no threat points wise. Dewsbury for me is the must win.

If Widnes do the treble over us then they look nailed on certs for top 4, even with their points deduction.

Its imperative Leigh win both games. Doing this put us in good stead awaiting yet another game (against Widnes) in a few weeks.

Widnes are still a handy outfit and I would be really disappointed if we cannot beat Dewsbury.

How do you come to that conclusion? Widnes are unbeaten at home & play on a plastic pitch that gives them a big advantage not to mention we have never beaten the mutants on their new pitch. They have a decent team & coach & are a dangerous side as they are making up the points deficit. What a stupid statement on this thread you started but you are pretty deluded & clueless so it's to be expected.

Really looking forward to this one. Hope you lads turn up in numbers, hoping for a 6000-7000 crowd on Friday. Gutted Liam Hood won’t be on our side, his defence and aggression is one of the best I’ve seen for many of years. Glad to have the derby back.

I think this will be seen as a key game by John Duffy. Win it and put down a marker will be the goal, and my hope.

This will be a tight game and hopefully see a few of you at the game. Probably be a top atmosphere.

I wonder if he'll be on ours? Missed the game at HKR, injured and, although he's in our 19, so is Josh Eaves, a hooker from Saints.

I can’t see us winning any of the games with Widnes either. To continue the results you always show on your messages up to 2014, here they are:- 27.9.15 Middle 8’s away lost 6-50
01.04.17 super league home lost 24-37
22.06.17 super league away lost 10-36
03.09.17 middle 8’s. home lost 8-24
So I cannot see Widnes not in top 5 as unlike us, they have kept most of their best players from last season.

Surely we must be due a win against them sometime soon, though? They finished below us in SL, but demolished us in all three games that season.
