Thought he went really well, as did Sidlaw and Russell. If Leigh can keep the injuries down and get a bit more stamina I think one or two other teams towards the bottom will be getting worried.

Wigan were poor , you missed a great chance last night of which you may not get many

I tend to agree. They would have been two "bonus" points. We did well but should have closed down the game better in the second half: we missed a great chance when Joe Mellor tried to pick the ball up on the run.
The performances of Wakefield and HKR illustrated how hard it is going to be, however I don't think we are going to be bullied by anyone.

In hindsight,your post could have be different.Leigh should have won.

Is it harder to close the game down now with the new rules?

Mellors was a top chance.The error from kick off 2nd half didnt help and I thought Ryan should have gone for Bibby.

We did play some great stuff first half and may have scored more against a lesser team.Big money signing for pies had a big impact on the game.

We will need all our troops with a few more if we can get em as the intensity will take its toll
