I know, sounds like Derek is already planning for the championship 2022. No loan signings for about 2 months, and then sending Jamie Ellis & Tom Spencer out on loan, therefore reducing the wage bill.

No commitments coming from Derek and yes seemingly like saving money, but as I said before this season hasn't cost him anything with the cost of the assembled team divided into the £1M funding, is this his exit strategy starting to show?

I hope degsy knows more than us and that nobody will go down? It was always going to be tough this season playing in SL with championship players. Whatever does happen we need a platform in place to build on cause at the moment we have nothing

When SL set this situation up assume they were not bothered about the long term impact this situation may have on a club. As the season continues without a win how many fans will walk away never to return. The double standards in the game are unreal, all the advantages given to the Toronto club compare this to the one hand tied behind back situation for Leigh.

Harry , I’m not on Dereks Facebook , but my Daughter has told me what Derek has said in relation to yesterday’s performance , the teams performance , and his reaction to the fans booing , and the verbal abuse the fans apperently gave him and the players .

He says he is committed to the Club , as he loves the Club so much , and for me reading into this it seems he has no intention of walking away , which I applaud him for .I make no secret I’m a Derek fan , though I haven’t been happy with the loud silence from the Club , he says about fans saying we should sign players , tell him who is available .?

He also asks the fans to back the Team and the Club , and I agree , my only quibble has been the entrance money , but again because of opening the other stands , the Stewards need paying , he says no player goes out on the field with the intention of not giving 100% and intend to agree there , hopefully we can get behind Derek and the Club , and try to show some support .

Maybe we are going to finish bottom Club , but so what .?I like many have supported Leigh , in SL , in the Championship, in the second division , and have seen many average players , nowt will change for me , I’m to owd for change, Cmon you Leythers .

If he does know more than us, that will cost him again. The way he has gone about it.

If read correctly Charlie he would rather have a team of 17 and less fans. Most of that booing was pointed at the ref. Then again if Mr Beaumont chooses to spout his mouth off at fans season tickets holders or £30 a game. He just barked up the wrong fooking tree.

Just your usual talking rubbish infesting what was once a reasonable forum.No comments on the actual game but then you dont go do you.

If I read it correctly Mr Beaumont offered to meet and repay st holders they only have to ask

DBs frustrations coming out. I did not personally hear any Leigh fans booing the players. Some charting of the ref who allowed many high tackles (real ones not the drift up from shoulder ones that get penalties now) go with light punishment Ryan was totally flattened and we didn’t even get a penalty. Also obvious targeting of Mellor. Most fans stayed to applaud the teams effort and congratulate Ryan on his 150 tries. There may have been an isolated incident DB heard and he has every right to call it out. Keep supporting the boys they are putting everything into it, SL is a tough gig.
