That was a score line I didn't expect.
Sidlow looked like he got a tweak at the end of the match. Asiata rested for most of it.
Thought Inu was unfortunate with his binning, looked like a good solid hit, which he'd been doing most of the game and was one of the stand outs of me today.
Wardle did sneak MoM for me too but I think McDonnell was very strong and Smith was solid (it must be hard putting in such solid performances and then knowing your interchange is with the current "man" and you'll not get that much recognition as you go off) and Nakubuwai seemed to get stronger with the more minutes he did, but the the whole performance across the whole team was, I think, the most complete so far this season.
Taking the 2 at the very start got a few heads scratching around me but it was just to keep the proverbial score ticking over.
Halifax were a well drilled unit with some brief flare in attack but you could see, as it now the case, we'd done them over in the first half and they were spent but full credit to them for going till the end, including losing Gee.
Today was about the win, squad management and also making up for the near catastrophe at Barrow and all 3 of those were jobs well done.
