Another far from perfect performance which nonetheless was pretty brutal and effective and which overpowered the Bulls in their own backyard - I have not been able to say that many times over the years, if ever!
Great result, although tinged with worry over the injuries that we picked-up.
I have heard Lam's post match interview which indicates that Chamberlain is probably out for about a month. O'Donnell however was the real worry given that he was obviously in distress immediately following his injury and given that he did not get up and stayed prone whilst the game was stopped and for full head/neck precautionary treatment to be provided on the pitch before the poor lad was carted off on the stretcher. The real worry was that it looked at the time like a season ending injury.
In the post match interview thankfully Lam indicated that the treatment was more precautionary and that the extent of the neck injury will have to be assessed. I have to say that I am concerned that he will end up being out for a while. I really hope that I am wrong because O'Donnell has been great for us and we need him both this season and next. He bombed a couple of chances today but he made huge yards with every carry and is dynamite in the tackle. He was having another great game for us until the injury occurred.
Stone also took a knock and was hobbling when he went off. Wardle as well had running treatment during the game. We could end up being a few players down next week. Hopefully Green is very near being recovered and fit to play because we are likely to need him.
All in all, the injuries just took a little bit of the gloss off a great away win.
