2 interesting fixtures this Sunday. After being thumped 46 - 16 by Leigh Centurions (it would have been 54 with Inu playing) in which even their camouflage strip couldn't help them, Fev visit a revitalised Widnes whilst in-form Batley visit Fax. If Batley win and Fev drop more points then Batley are just 1 point behind them. Batley visit Leigh in the last game, but I would expect Leigh to play a 2nd string team, so Batley could stand a chance in that game as they could be fired up for 2nd place. Fev also have to visit Barrow and Fax, so 2nd place isn't set in concrete.

Probably best for us if Batley do finish 2nd as McDermott says he can beat us next time hahahaha. Get that bridesmaid dress on Mac

I don't think we will play a below strength team against Batley in the last fixture of the regular season as we get a bye the following week.

Let Fev worry about themselves (as they seem to be doing), likewise Fax and Batley. The equation is simple, if Leigh win every game for the rest of the season (and we seem to be on a reasonable run) we will be promoted.

Lam Snr will take one game at a time, Nene will put in his last shift for a bit this weekend, Leigh will win and everyone will chalk off another step on the march.
