Nottingham Outlaws - Saturday 4th July : Tue Jun 30, 2009 5:43 pm
This is to inform you that the Outlaws v Buffaloes match will be a 16.00 kick off.

Directions to the Ground -

Address:
Nottingham Rugby
The Bay
1 Holme Road
West Bridgford
Nottingham
NG2 5AA

From the South:
Exit the M1 at junction 24. Follow signs to Nottingham (South) along A453 for approximately 6 miles. Keep going until you reach the first set of lights (ignoring pedestrian lights).

Go straight through these lights. Approximately 200m later you will see a flyover signed to Derby. Take the slip road to the left signposted to Grantham. Turn left at roundabout onto B679 (signed to Wilford and West Bridgford), straight across mini roundabout and straight through next set of lights.

At the A60 T-junction, turn left towards Nottingham city centre and move into the right hand lane. After approx 400m, at the second set of lights, keep right and turn right by the Trent Bridge Inn onto Radcliffe Road (Grantham A6250).

At the next set of lights ignore the first turning left onto Lady Bay bridge. Take the second left into Holme Road, and the ground is immediately on your left.

From the North:
Exit the M1 at junction 26 and take the A610 signposted to the City Centre.

After approximately 3 miles, cross the A6514 ring road and a further mile on you will see a sign for Mansfield, The City and Derby - take the left fork (Mansfield). At the end of this road there are 2 roundabouts - go over the first and then turn right at the second signed Loughborough (A60), Melton, Grantham (A52).

As you drop down the hill, the road forks to the left signed as above. Stay in the left hand lane, pass the Ice Stadium and turn left at the roundabout just beyond. This will take you over Trent Bridge, where you turn left onto Radcliffe Road (Grantham A6520).

At the next set of lights ignore the first turning left onto Lady Bay bridge. Take the second left into Holme Road, and the ground is immediately on your left.

The post code is NG2 5AA and if you click on this link you will see a map of the ground

By Bus

If you come out of the railway station front entrance, turn right and walk about 50 yards and you will see 5 or 6 bus stops grouped together. You can catch a number 11 bus at one of them (every 10 minutes). The number 11 bus takes you over the river trent (trent bridge) and you then want to get off the bus outside Macdonalds (600 yards after trent bridge). Walk down to the traffic lights (100 yards to the south) and the entrance to Lady Bay is across the road from the traffic lights

By Taxi

It is about 2 miles and will cost about £5

By Foot

Using the above map, walk down London Road, over Trent Bridge and then down Radcliffe Road to LadyBay. It will take about 25 minutes at a reasonably brisk walk.
This is to inform you that the Outlaws v Buffaloes match will be a 16.00 kick off.

What about directions from the east or west? Or by hang glider.
Has the kick off time changed because the game is on SKY tv ?

You could swim down the Trent and and get out behind the Forest ground,

Quick dry off in McDonalds and the ground is just down the road.
