Now that the disappointment of the result yesterday has dulled from a raw screaming pain to a nagging ache, I feel able to pop on here and congratulate you on a great result yesterday - largely down to one of the best coaching efforts I have ever seen.
I knew NB was a tactical coach, but never before have I witnessed a team as well prepared to deal with the opposition. You knew almost every move we tried and stopped it before it got started, leading to some of the frustrated play in the 2nd half like kicking on 3rd and 4th tackles, etc.
Added to that, your set moves worked a treat against us. NB had targetted our weak spots in defence, and they were executed superbly well.
It's not often the influence of a coach is so obvious, but on Sunday this was absolutely the case.
Nailed on for Coach of the Year? I reckon so.
Congratulations, and enjoy Wembley. I'll be a Giant for a day.
If NB does as much homework on Warrington as he clearly did on Saints, I reckon it'll be you that are loaning our trophy for the year.
