Like his attitude. Plus his Mongrel and niggle, though sometimes means a penalty too many, but unquestionably very talented.

Where should we be playing him ?

(He was winger for a bit last night)

Born a stones throw away from Spaines Road and brought up in Huddersfield. Now live in Leeds.

Full back for now. Too talented for the wing.

Could eventually see him and Brierley as our long term half back pairing.

Coaching staff said at various pre-season events he is a centre, not agile or quick enough for full-back or stand off

For me it's half back. He can pass, hand off, step, kick. Yes he's not blessed with speed but he's creative and he can pull something out of the bag, Kevin Brown has never been fast but he's class. Plus I think he is less exposed with a strong centre and second row either side of him. He's has 2/3 games at half back this year, and for someone who hasn't had a settled position, offensively he was really strong, I actually think he has been on a par with Ellis/Wood in those games, which given his experience there is impressive. I'd be more than happy if Brierley and Connor was our long term hb partnership.

I'd see him in the halves. Think he has some creativity we don't utilise enough at the moment.

I know we've had the injuries this season, but part of my frustration is feeling we have wasted a season of development for Connor , Simpson and brieley. If we had given them some stability of positions we could be more optimistic about our future.

not a centre or wing too slow

performed well in the halves and i think this is his position but we have ellis/brough so no chance

and wont get the full back spot

squad player now, shame he couldnt nail down a position but not his fault with injuries to others and him being so talented

I think like a few on these boards his lack of pace does limit his options.I don't think being a utility player is a bad thing ,Connor has most of the attributes of a top player,I like his style of play he can give back what he takes but tends to be to quick tempered at times.
His one major flaw and it is noticed by most critics is his lack of pace.Normally his pace would not be to much of a problem if he was quicker off the mark and I believe this could be rectified by a regular session with a speed coach.I cannot accept that as a young man people are trying to tie him down as a full back, centre etc his time will come of this I am sure.
