The "cashier kid" is employed by by "the club" to sell tickets amongst other things, so should have been fully aware of the facts having gone away to seek clarification.
I DID OFFER TO PREPAY FOR THE TICKETS...he told me that it wasn't necessary and to pay on match day !!
I agree with you that he has "probably since lied to cover his ass", but consequently that has made a bad situation worse for both himself and the club he represents !!
Whilst I accept that Richard Thewliss' gesture is admirable, it was only made on the belief that we were Giants fans, and since informing the club that we are Wakefield fans, I have heard nothing !!!
