Sorry Mr. Pedantic, Huddersfield is further up the road than Warrington is. Therefore a greater fuel price. I understand your point about concessions but you still got bargin season tickets which no other team's fans were offered. A hudds season ticket wouldn't have been a bargin for me when you factor in travelling from Warrington and only attending when Wire aren't playing.

Mrs Pedantic if you please.

Lighten up...was only jesting with ya! You are in the final, so are we, the price of our season tickets dont come into it. I have paid full price for my season ticket for 15 years so its not like I am a newbie. I am very appreciative of the offer to have a cheap ticket and as a result have bought merchandise to make up for the cheaper ticket price therefore the club have not lost out.

I cannot afford to pay £37.50 x 4 to get to the final as well as pay for tickets, food etc. Like everyone else money will only stretch so far and we have less than 3 weeks to do it.

But cashing in like this with kids as well is a little too far. Especially as many will choose another form of transport!

Incidently I've just got a quote for a 17 seater minibus for that weekend £278 even with deisel and parking on top it still works out so much less than our official coach! I don't drive and I asked my folks if they fancied a trip to london for the day, my mums interested as it's her birthday a few days before but my dad says we won't win if he doesn't watch it at home. My folks aren't into rugby at all by the way!

We're booked on Virgin Trains West Coast, four of us going for £15.80 each, and we'll be there in two hours...... (going Fri, returning Mon to avoid the West coast mainline works on Sat & Sun)

£37.50 does seem a tad dear

forgot to mention, train was cheap using family railcard (free for 3months with Daily Mail)

2x Nights HolidayInn Express @ £26/family room inc conty breakfast
1x Night Premier Inn @ £54/family room inc English breaky

£106 for three nights + £64ish Train for four of us
= £42.50 each for 3nights accom + Train travel

god only knows what the drinks & food bill will be like though
