More than likely Salford will loan and you will be left paying maybe 70% of his wage if they can only fit say 30% of his wage under there cap. Therefore its better than you paying 100% of most probably a 100k+ wage for a player that will not play for you again.
Unless Leeds offer just to take him off you to get rid of 100% of his cap value for no fee. They have cap space for him
Reason i mention Salford is Tim Sheens is the coach there and i believe if Brett went there it would be for the soul purpose of trying to engineer a NRL move in a years time which i think TS would be able to do for him. (Also you may get a fee then if he is in top form)
