I remember a night match at home against Hudds that year with a close score(I think we lost 8-0)
This must have been a buddies cup game maybe?

yes we did - although we were held to a draw at whitehaven?
we also smashed you lot at home that year 56-12 or something.
wouldn't mind a repeat of that tomorrow

You sure? The Buddies was the final on a damp Sunday afternoon at the end of May. Don't recall a night game that season, perhaps you are thinking of an earlier meeting (97?)
