There have been three rugby matches played on that pitch versus ~30 matches of soccer.

He's maoning about the bounciness of the pitch, we'll have nothing to do with that. If anything that will be the efficient drainage or the fact the pitch was supposed to be re-done between 10-15 years after the initial laying and we're bang in the middle of that phase.

You having a laugh! How did the pitch caused the town defender to handle the ball I'll never know. It's funny that they play 20+ games on the pitch during the time when the grass doesn't grow and we play 13 when it does + want the grass longer. Out game is about passing the ball to hand, theirs is about kicking the ball along the ground. It's obvious who is to blame.

What's that analogy about the bad workman?

He's not blamed the rugby but it doesn't take too much from the mindless masses who follow football to blame the rugby. Common sense doesn't enter into it.
