I just don't think I'd be happy with Anderson.

Why,
Because he is not Proven,
because he has not won anything
Tony Smith had won nothing, Nathan Brown had won nothing and neither of them were proven when they came to the Giants. ( neither of them have won anything either with the Giants)
Paul Anderson has been groomed for the job and has spent the last 4 years learning how to do the job under Sharp and Brown and then when him and Purtill took over after Sharp left.
Anderson is steeped in the running of the club and knows all the players. He will know which ones need the stick and which ones need the carrot. He will know all the other members of the coaching / admin / support team.
He will not need to learn anything about the club. He is someone who has done everything in the game as a player and has played under all the top coaches throughout Super League.
He will be rerady to be announced as soon as NB says he is going. No period of uncertainty and an ethos of carrying on what is being done.
he will provide continuity within the club and sends the message that the Huddersfield Giants is a club that provides stability and security.
Teams that have tended to dominate in sport are teams that do not make massive changes continuously but provide continuity from within the club. Look at Liverpool and Manchester United football club for the best examples.
The key for Anderson is to think about his assistant coach Brad Drew and Kieran Purtill would be good options, maybe even Gilmour.
I do think that the sooner it is sorted the better. We do not want to go through the crap we had last season with the will he wont he go saga.
I hope that the time between NB saying he is going and KD says that Anderson is taking over should be no more than 30 seconds.
