he has a personal trainer and a fitness plan sent over by greg brown to stick too... not ideal but at least he will still be putting in good work

Giants still confident he will be here for game 1 of the season...

mind you ive not even put him in my first 17 as ive never seen him play and we still look very strong so no biggie if he misses the first game, but still needs to get settled in as soon as poss

need o'donnell to be ready too mind..

Not really, Cleary chose to take up a coaching role and stay down under instead from what i remember

Replace Carney with Ta'ai and you have the same story.

Carney's problems were that he had some criminal record and that is why he did not get in. I would guess that if Ta ai had a record we would not have touched him.

I would guess that Ta ai has more of a problem to do with his ability to satisfy visa requirements ie representative honours or some such thing.

thats what i think too, confident we will still see taai as are the club.
