we are abit short in the backs

tautai is a decent enough prop if we get him

Undisclosed fee, as always. Will we see how we go for the time being? Certainly won't miss the 2015 Ferres as we didn't see a hell of a lot of him.

Would be nice to see us use the cap space but not the end of the world if a few of the youngsters step up this year.

Glad the first part is sorted. I don't want us to panic buy, but we have little depth. We need another quality back row/back imo.

I knew he end up at Leeds for an 'undisclosed FREE' but it gets his probably 100-150k salary off your cap.
Lost a top player there though as we have with Carney.

glad its been sorted now before the season starts and to actually get him off our cap space, dont expect to see the club use it anytime soon though as they never rush into things and will just see how the season pans out and if anyone comes available they like.

as for ferres he hasnt done anything for us since the 2013 season, last season was a total washout and the season before that i become frustrated with his performances, he has done well for england though.

what i do think we will miss is his on field presence , he is a go too man and also has that bit of mongrel in him, hope arent going to get bullied as a team again like we used too, could happen...we have brought in patrick softie again! rapira might help us out on this front.

Well he had to go - will make this year's games against the Rhinos even more intense.

Giants club have acted impeccably throughout this sorry tale and trust that they will make the right decisions with regard to any replacement at the right time.

Real shame this has happened after he performed so well for England following return from injury - was looking forward to seeing him play for the Giants injury free - now will be the pantomime villain and trust the Giants players use this as motivation to return to being the top Yorkshire club again.

All sorted now and trust the matter has had a team strengthening impact on the squad.
