That article from Bentham reads as an arrogant little man. He could just admit he made a mistake. There is no way he knew for certain it was missing, but no he is too arrogant to admit it, instead he uses other refs as an excuse for his mistake. I've spoken to many people, people who are fans of other teams and people who don't really have any particular team they support. No-body thinks Bentham should not have gone to the video ref, he brings our sport down and yet our sport is run by idiots who can't see that we need to sort arrogance from the man in the middle like Bentham on Sunday. It should be a long long time before he takes a match that Fartown are in again.

It would have been a cosidered view it would have been a fairer view and it would not have contributed to the view that Bentham made a mistake without thinking about it.

He said i am adamant it did not go over

then says

The only thing that would have helped would have been taller posts.

Therefore he is not adamant it did not go over because he is accepting some doubt because the posts were not high enough and that would have helped him to be more adamant.

How adamant was he 70, 80 90%.

If there was doubt go to the VR even if it had been referred back to him. That is whuy i am annoyed.

All that rubbish about refs have to make decisions we dont want to go the VR all the time.

He went on how to start the game and should he give a penalty for a marginal contact to apleyer in the air when Lawrence tackled Lomax.

Yet ona huge fundamental decision he did not want to go to the VR.

Bullshit Mr Bentham and you know it.

I would imagine he is not referring to his decision but everybody else's opinion of it.
